And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.A person’s pride will bring him low, But a humble spirit will obtain honor.

But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.”
For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.For bodily training is just slightly beneficial, but godliness is beneficial for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.
Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.You will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.If anyone thinks himself to be religious, yet does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this person’s religion is worthless.

The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.

Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.For the moment, all discipline seems not to be pleasant, but painful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not.All day long he is craving, While the righteous gives and does not hold back.
It is he that buildeth his stories in the heaven, and hath founded his troop in the earth; he that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The Lord is his name.The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth, He who calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth, The Lord is His name.

I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life. And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one’s lifetime; moreover, that every person who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor—this is the gift of God.
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent.

A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.A prudent person sees evil and hides himself; But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty.
