But the one who boasts is to boast in the Lord. For it is not the one who commends himself that is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. 2 Corinthians 10:17-18	As the Scriptures say, “If you want to boast, boast only about the Lord.” When people commend themselves, it doesn’t count for much. And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who wait for the Lord. Psalm 31:24	So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord! hope encouragement heart
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. John 1:12	But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. faith Father children
To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. Romans 2:7	He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. obedience seeking eternal life
I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance. Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. James 1:12	God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. reward temptation life
And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him. Hebrews 11:6	And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. faith joy reward
How great is Your goodness, Which You have stored up for those who fear You, Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You, Before the sons of mankind! Psalm 31:19	How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. trust fear blessing

But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.
