| What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? | What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? |

| That they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.” These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit. | They said to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts.” These are those who cause divisions and are sensual, not having the Spirit. |
| Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy. | Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but joy comes to the promoters of peace. |
| Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. | Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock. |
