But “he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but those who plan peace have joy.

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.Whoever gives thought to the word will discover good, and blessed is he who trusts in the Lord.
Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? ‘I, the Lord, am the first; And with the last I am He.’Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.
He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.
Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die.Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord.Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!
Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.Who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.
