Whoever (2/4)

  • One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
  • A fool despises his father’s correction,
but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.
  • He who walks blamelessly walks surely,
but he who perverts his ways will be found out.
  • But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.
  • But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?
  • Therefore you are without excuse, O man, whoever you are who judge. For in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself. For you who judge practice the same things.
  • The father of the righteous has great joy.
Whoever fathers a wise child delights in him.
  • Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
  • For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says.
  • He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.
  • He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
  • He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
  • He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”
  • He is in the way of life who heeds correction,
but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray.
  • He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”
  • He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.
  • He sat down and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
  • One who walks with wise men grows wise,
but a companion of fools suffers harm.
  • He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die.
  • If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
  • He who is slow to anger has great understanding,
but he who has a quick temper displays folly.
  • He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
  • He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.
  • As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on me will also live because of me.
  • Who is wise, that he may understand these things?
Who is prudent, that he may know them?
For the ways of Yahweh are right,
and the righteous walk in them,
but the rebellious stumble in them.

Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
