- He who gets wisdom loves his own soul.
He who keeps understanding shall find good. - But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
- This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
- Give to everyone who asks you, and don’t ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.
- Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away,
but he who gathers by hand makes it grow. - In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience,
but he who restrains his lips does wisely. - But he who endures to the end will be saved.
- One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.
- All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.
