- A highway will be there, a roadway,
And it will be called the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean will not travel on it,
But it will be for the one who walks that way,
And fools will not wander on it. - Many will be purged, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.
- For the Lord your God will have blessed you just as He has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
- Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.
- I will exalt You, my God, the King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - He will not allow your foot to slip;
He who watches over you will not slumber. - A person’s pride will bring him low,
But a humble spirit will obtain honor. - Yet those who wait for the Lord
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary. - Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.
- I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonders. - I will rejoice and be jubilant in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - The wise of heart will receive commands,
But a babbling fool will come to ruin. - The hand of the diligent will rule,
But the lazy hand will be put to forced labor. - The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace. - Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him Immanuel.
- Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
Save me and I will be saved,
For You are my praise. - For nothing will be impossible with God.
- When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you. - I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will make showers fall in their season; they will be showers of blessing.
- One who walks with wise people will be wise,
But a companion of fools will suffer harm. - Because Your favor is better than life,
My lips will praise You.
So I will bless You as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name. - But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.
- For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings,
And their sins I will no longer remember. - For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us;
And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. - Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.
