| Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. | Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. |
| The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. | The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it. |

| Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another. | Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. |

| Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. | Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. |
| Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. | Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. |
| Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. | Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you. |
