| As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. | As servants of God, behave as free people, but do not use your freedom as a means to cover up wrongdoing. |
| Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. | Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.” |
| Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? | Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?” |
| And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. | And the world with all its enticements is passing away, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. |
