Worship (3/4)

  • Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
  • Be exalted, God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth.
  • For you are my rock and my fortress,
therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.
  • In that day you will say, “Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Declare his doings among the peoples! Proclaim that his name is exalted!”
  • Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
  • Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
  • I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart,
when I learn your righteous judgments.
  • But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
  • It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
  • Day by day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. The Lord added to the assembly day by day those who were being saved.
  • I will be glad and rejoice in you.
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
  • Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen.
  • The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
  • For, “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
  • How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without defect to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
  • As they served the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Separate Barnabas and Saul for me, for the work to which I have called them.”
  • Therefore accept one another, even as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God.
  • Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
  • And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
  • The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom.
All those who do his work have a good understanding.
    His praise endures forever!
  • I will sing to Yahweh as long as I live.
I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.
  • I thank you and praise you,
    O God of my fathers,
who have given me wisdom and might,
    and have now made known to me what we desired of you;
for you have made known to us the king’s matter.
  • Teach me your way, Yahweh.
I will walk in your truth.
Make my heart undivided to fear your name.
  • Glory to God in the highest,
on earth peace, good will toward men.
  • But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. Always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear.

Who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error. Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit.
O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart.
