- God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

those who walk in pride. - I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

when I sing praises to you;

And there is nothing on earth that I desire other than you. - How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to worship the living God!
- By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life.
