And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith. For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.
Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is.Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.

Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
