- Not to us, Yahweh, not to us,
but to your name give glory,
for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake. - Therefore be merciful,
even as your Father is also merciful. - Let your eyes look straight ahead.
Fix your gaze directly before you. - For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Trust in Yahweh with all your heart,
and don’t lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. - Go your way—eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; for God has already accepted your works.

Let all of your ways be established. - My son, keep your father’s commandment,

Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
It will be health to your body,
and nourishment to your bones. - Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, we have waited for you.
Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul. - Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them.
- Pray like this:
‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.
Let your Kingdom come.
Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’ - All of your words are truth.
Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
- But when you do merciful deeds, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does, so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
- Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.
- But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- But from there you shall seek Yahweh your God, and you will find him when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- Don’t you be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying: Yahweh of Armies says, ‘Return now from your evil ways and from your evil doings;’ but they didn’t hear nor listen to me, says Yahweh.
