Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Wash yourselves and become clean; remove your evil deeds far from my sight. Cease to do evil.Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil.
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.
Dear children, keep away from idols.Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.
However, you, dear friends, must build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in the love of God as you await our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy, who will grant you eternal life. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Do not make gods from silver or from gold instead of me. You will not make them for yourselves. You shall not make anything to be with Me—gods of silver or gods of gold you shall not make for yourselves.
Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where they will be destroyed by moth and rust and where thieves break in and steal. Rather, store up treasure for yourselves in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves cannot break in and steal.Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Therefore, since Christ suffered in the flesh, you should arm yourselves also with the same intention. For anyone who has suffered in the flesh has finished with sin. Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vanity, but humbly regard others as better than yourselves.Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
Be doers of the word and not just hearers who only deceive themselves. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
Nor should you present any part of your body as an instrument for wickedness leading to sin. Rather, present yourselves to God as having been raised from death to life and the parts of your body to God as instruments for righteousness. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Then come together again so that Satan may not tempt you by taking advantage of your lack of self-control.Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Those of you who seek to be justified by the Law have cut yourselves off from Christ and have fallen away from grace. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
