- I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. - As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return,
To go as he came;
And he shall take nothing from his labor
Which he may carry away in his hand. - As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
- Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
- Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.
- So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling.
- For it is written:
“As I live, says the Lord,
Every knee shall bow to Me,
And every tongue shall confess to God.” - Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
- For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
- But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
- May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us.
- For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous;
With favor You will surround him as with a shield. - For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
- For You, O God, have tested us;
You have refined us as silver is refined. - For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
- But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine.
- And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
- Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
- As a father pities his children,
So the Lord pities those who fear Him. - A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
- Seek good and not evil,
That you may live;
So the Lord God of hosts will be with you,
As you have spoken. - As iron sharpens iron,
So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
