- The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich,
and he adds no sorrow with it. - Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.

May you bless your people. - And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!

- And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
belong to the one sitting on the throne
and to the Lamb forever and ever.” - Then Jesus led them to Bethany, and lifting his hands to heaven, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up to heaven.
- “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”
- For I assisted the poor in their need
and the orphans who required help.

And I caused the widows’ hearts to sing for joy. - So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
- We have happy memories of the godly,
but the name of a wicked person rots away. - How great is the goodness
you have stored up for those who fear you.
You lavish it on those who come to you for protection,
blessing them before the watching world. - As they were eating, Jesus took some bread and blessed it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “Take this and eat it, for this is my body.”

and the hills disappear,
but even then my faithful love for you will remain.
My covenant of blessing will never be broken,”
says the Lord, who has mercy on you. - The generous will prosper;
those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. - You must serve only the Lord your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.

- Jesus took the five loaves and two fish, looked up toward heaven, and blessed them. - I will cause your descendants to become as numerous as the stars of the sky, and I will give them all these lands. And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed. I will do this because Abraham listened to me and obeyed all my requirements, commands, decrees, and instructions.
