Fill me with joy (2/4)

A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.
The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him.
In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The vine is dried up and the fig tree is withered; the pomegranate, the palm and the apple tree— all the trees of the field—are dried up. The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist them. The one who was dying blessed me; I made the widow’s heart sing.Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.
His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place.I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?
I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.
I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him.It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him.
Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
