- May the Lord our God be with us, as He was with our fathers. May He not leave us nor forsake us.
- But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
- Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
- Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was extolled with my tongue. - And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
- Better is a little with the fear of the Lord,
Than great treasure with trouble. - Show me Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths. - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled. - These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
- Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
- Better is a little with righteousness,
Than vast revenues without justice. - The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
- I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
- And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
Give ear to my supplications!
In Your faithfulness answer me,
And in Your righteousness.
