- The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- But the one who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds will be revealed as having been performed in God.
- Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
- And so the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people.”
- Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.
- I will raise my eyes to the mountains;
From where will my help come?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - Not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you would inherit a blessing.
- For so the Lord has commanded us,
‘I have appointed You as a light to the Gentiles,
That You may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’ - The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime;
And His song will be with me in the night,
A prayer to the God of my life. - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
May Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah - So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, so that they will be praised by people. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
- You shall not add to the word which I am commanding you, nor take away from it, so that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you.
- Now then, do away with the foreign gods which are in your midst, and incline your hearts to the Lord, the God of Israel.
- So then, when the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- Now about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
- The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright,
But ruin to the workers of injustice. - Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal faithfully are His delight. - For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears attend to their prayer,
But the face of the Lord is against evildoers. - And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, he is to be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
- Jesus said to him, “If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
- And sitting down, He called the twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh.
- And heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears are toward their cry for help.
