I have no good apart from you.” - For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.
- Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever! - But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

- And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
