- I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- He loveth righteousness and judgment:
the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
for ever. - Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men! - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
- For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
- Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.
- Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses;
for they have been ever of old.
Remember not the sins of my youth,
nor my transgressions:
according to thy mercy remember thou me
for thy goodness' sake, O Lord. - Blessed are the peacemakers:
for they shall be called the children of God. - For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. - But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord:
my goodness extendeth not to thee. - Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
- And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.
- And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
- And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
- For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
- The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
- Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me.
