Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.And being made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him.
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do.
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.
