- We love Him because He first loved us.

- By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God? - Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace. - For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
- Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
- ‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
- The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing. - And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
- And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
