- And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
- As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
- But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.
- For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. - I will love You, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.
- If you love Me, keep My commandments.
- If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
- Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. - If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
- And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. - This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
- He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- I love the Lord, because He has heard
My voice and my supplications.
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. - And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.
- Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.
- Let all that you do be done with love.
- You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- ‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
- Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
- And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
We love Him because He first loved us.And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.Next verse!With image
