- But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
- Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
- For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
- Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
