I (2/4)

Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin.I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
He must become greater; I must become less.He must increase, but I must decrease.
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.
I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever.I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.”Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”O my soul, thou hast said unto the Lord, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
‘Return, faithless Israel,’ declares the Lord, ‘I will frown on you no longer, for I am faithful,’ declares the Lord, ‘I will not be angry forever.’Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever.
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.I love the Lord, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman.I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
