- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
- Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand.
- Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
- The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom,
and humility comes before honor. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?
- Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
- Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually! - Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord,
who walks in his ways! - The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.
- For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
- Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord! - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear.
What can man do to me? - Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in man. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and kind in all his works. - For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: “Seek me and live.”
- The Lord makes poor and makes rich;
he brings low and he exalts. - The reward for humility and fear of the Lord
is riches and honor and life. - I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually! - Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call upon him while he is near. - Blessed be the Lord,
who daily bears us up;
God is our salvation. Selah
