- Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
and his greatness is unsearchable. - The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof,
the world and those who dwell therein. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! - Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in what is right,
and teaches the humble his way. - It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.
- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah - This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it. - Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! - Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and instruction. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. - Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
who greatly delights in his commandments! - Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts;
his name is the Lord;
exult before him!
Father of the fatherless and protector of widows
is God in his holy habitation. - This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.
- Many are the plans in the mind of a man,
but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
His praise endures forever! - Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit. - Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
- For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.
For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God?Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
