- Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
and his greatness is unsearchable. - The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof;
the world, and they that dwell therein. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord;
and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. - Good and upright is the Lord:
therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way. - Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah. - This is the day which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice and be glad in it. - Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
- The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom;
and before honour is humility. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. - This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.
- There is none holy as the Lord:
for there is none beside thee:
neither is there any rock like our God. - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life;
of whom shall I be afraid? - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
a good understanding have all they that do his commandments:
his praise endureth for ever. - Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
- For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
- For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord.
- The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
For who is God, save the Lord?
