- For who is God, save the Lord?
and who is a rock, save our God? - Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
- Seek the Lord, and his strength:
seek his face evermore. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
- For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
- It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
- Seek the Lord and his strength,
seek his face continually. - By humility and the fear of the Lord
are riches, and honour, and life. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. - For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.
- And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
- Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the Lord. - For the word of the Lord is right;
and all his works are done in truth. - The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich:
he bringeth low, and lifteth up. - Seek ye the Lord while he may be found,
call ye upon him while he is near.
Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name.This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.Next verse!With image
