- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people he chose for his inheritance. - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- The tongue of the righteous is choice silver,
but the heart of the wicked is of little value. - Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
- A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one.

A faithful God who does no wrong,
upright and just is he. - Every word of God is flawless;

but every fool is quick to quarrel. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
- There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
- How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
- The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
