John (4/4)

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.”
In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all.
By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
Most assuredly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send receives Me; and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me.
On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!”
Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”Then Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.”
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.
If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.
And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.I have revealed you to them, and I will continue to do so. Then your love for me will be in them, and I will be in them.
And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming. And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.
And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.
He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.
But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?
But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.Those who obey God’s commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us.
