- Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it. - I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. - It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.
- Observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go.
- Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
- Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to him and revering him.
- And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
- Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!
- My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity. - So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
- Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent,
and discerning if they hold their tongues. - Whoever keeps commandments keeps their life,
but whoever shows contempt for their ways will die. - But from everlasting to everlasting
the Lord’s love is with those who fear him,
and his righteousness with their children’s children—
with those who keep his covenant
and remember to obey his precepts. - He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”
- Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.
- Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
- Keep falsehood and lies far from me;
give me neither poverty nor riches,
but give me only my daily bread. - But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
- Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.
- How can a young person stay on the path of purity?
By living according to your word. - And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
- For, “Whoever would love life
and see good days
must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech.
They must turn from evil and do good;
they must seek peace and pursue it.” - You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light.
Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God gives you for all time.You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts and eyes.
