- Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there might be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God.
- For Yahweh says to the house of Israel:
“Seek me, and you will live.” - Yet I am Yahweh your God from the land of Egypt;
and you shall acknowledge no god but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - Wake up righteously and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
- But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No.’ Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
- I ate no pleasant food. No meat or wine came into my mouth. I didn’t anoint myself at all, until three whole weeks were fulfilled.
- But he knows the way that I take.
When he has tried me, I will come out like gold.
My foot has held fast to his steps.
I have kept his way, and not turned away. - Now may the God of peace, who brought again from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep with the blood of an eternal covenant, our Lord Jesus, make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

- Yahweh’s blessing brings wealth,
and he adds no trouble to it. - I am coming quickly! Hold firmly that which you have, so that no one takes your crown.
- I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all perish in the same way.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
- Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord.
- No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.
- But above all things, my brothers, don’t swear— not by heaven, or by the earth, or by any other oath; but let your “yes” be “yes”, and your “no”, “no”, so that you don’t fall into hypocrisy.
