| But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart. | But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or how tall he stands, for the Lord has rejected him. | But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. | I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to render an account for every careless word they utter. |
| Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. | But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness. |
