- Lead me in thy truth, and teach me:
for thou art the God of my salvation;
on thee do I wait all the day. - Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
- For thou art my rock and my fortress;
therefore for thy name's sake lead me, and guide me. - Search me, O God, and know my heart:
try me, and know my thoughts:
And see if there be any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts:
all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. - I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
- My times are in thy hand:
deliver me from the hand of mine enemies,
and from them that persecute me. - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths. - And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
- Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
- He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us;
he will subdue our iniquities;
and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. - Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
- Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
- Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
- And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
- Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
- And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
- Have mercy upon me, O God,
according to thy lovingkindness:
according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me throughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin. - If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
- When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
