who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from their heart;
whose tongue utters no slander,
who does no wrong to a neighbor,
and casts no slur on others. - I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
- The words of a gossip are like choice morsels;
they go down to the inmost parts. - You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
- Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” - But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne; or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.Next verse!With image
