- Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life,
And my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever. - Certainly the Lord God does nothing

Yet we ourselves assumed that He had been afflicted,

But one who perverts his ways will be found out. - The vine has dried up
And the fig tree has withered;
The pomegranate, the palm also, and the apple tree,
All the trees of the field have dried up.
Indeed, joy has dried up
From the sons of mankind. - For it is written:
“As I live, says the Lord, to Me every knee will bow,
And every tongue will give praise to God.” - Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will do it.
- Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
- For You bless the righteous person, Lord,
You surround him with favor as with a shield. - And faithfulness is Yours, Lord,
For You reward a person according to his work. - Turn to my rebuke,
Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
I will make my words known to you. - From the same mouth come both blessing and cursing. My brothers and sisters, these things should not be this way.
- When you set your eyes on it, it is gone.
For wealth certainly makes itself wings
Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens. - You shall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you may certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor hold any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the Lord.
- ‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’
- Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
- For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
- Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?
- On the day of prosperity be happy,
But on the day of adversity consider:
God has made the one as well as the other
So that a person will not discover anything that will come after him.
