Let Your ears be attentive
To the voice of my supplications. - Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
- Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
- The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. - Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
- But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.
- “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
And pour out for you such blessing
That there will not be room enough to receive it.” - Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
- Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
- Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
- But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.
- Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - I have blotted out, like a thick cloud, your transgressions,
And like a cloud, your sins.
Return to Me, for I have redeemed you. - Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. - Go, eat your bread with joy,
And drink your wine with a merry heart;
For God has already accepted your works.
