- He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:
and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. - Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
- I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in right paths. - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. - Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
- And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
- I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye. - For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.
- For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
- And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
- For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord,
and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,
and that spreadeth out her roots by the river,
and shall not see when heat cometh,
but her leaf shall be green;
and shall not be careful in the year of drought,
neither shall cease from yielding fruit.Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.Next verse!With image
