- Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- I had fainted, unless I had believed
to see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
- Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in right paths. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
all ye that hope in the Lord. - Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord;
in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. - I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
- And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. - Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - But I have trusted in thy mercy;
my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
I will sing unto the Lord,
because he hath dealt bountifully with me. - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye. - And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
- Yea, in the way of thy judgments,
O Lord, have we waited for thee;
the desire of our soul is to thy name,
and to the remembrance of thee.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.Next verse!With image
