Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.Be of the same mind one toward another. Don’t set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Don’t be wise in your own conceits.
Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint.

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.

Fools show their annoyance at once, but the prudent overlook an insult.A fool shows his annoyance the same day, but one who overlooks an insult is prudent.
