Bible Verses about 'Wise'
- Walk with the wise and become wise,
for a companion of fools suffers harm. - Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.

but a foolish son brings grief to his mother. - Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious,
but fools are consumed by their own lips. - The father of a righteous child has great joy;
a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him. - Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent,
and discerning if they hold their tongues. - The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.

the righteous walk in them,
but the rebellious stumble in them. - Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.

For it is not wise to ask such questions. - After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”

but the prudent overlook an insult.If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.Next verse!With image
