- Remember, Lord, Your compassion and Your faithfulness,
For they have been from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my wrongdoings;
Remember me according to Your faithfulness,
For Your goodness’ sake, Lord. - For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave of sin.”
- And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- For the one who sows to his own flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
- How blessed is he whose wrongdoing is forgiven,
Whose sin is covered! - For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- The mentioning of the righteous is a blessing,
But the name of the wicked will rot. - Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
- Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity.
- The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the Law.
- So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
- Repent and turn away from all your offenses, so that wrongdoing does not become a stumbling block to you.
- What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? Far from it! How shall we who died to sin still live in it?
- For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings,
And their sins I will no longer remember. - There is a way which seems right to a person,
But its end is the way of death. - The one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
- But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.
- He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
- Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.
- We have sinned, we have done wrong, and acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances.
- Now if a person sins and does any of the things which the Lord has commanded not to be done, though he was unaware, he is still guilty and shall bear his punishment.
- Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- “Come now, and let us debate your case,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They shall become as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be like wool.”
