  • When there are many words, wrongdoing is unavoidable,
    But one who restrains his lips is wise.
  • Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
  • I have treasured Your word in my heart,
    So that I may not sin against You.
  • For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
  • Righteousness exalts a nation,
    But sin is a disgrace to any people.
  • For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing.
  • I acknowledged my sin to You,
    And I did not hide my guilt;
    I said, “I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”;

  • In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
  • You lust and do not have, so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
  • When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away
    Through my groaning all day long.
  • Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us.
  • As far as the east is from the west,
    So far has He removed our wrongdoings from us.
  • But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses.
