Bible Verses about Temptation

No trial has confronted you except what a person can stand. God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tried beyond your strength. But together with the trial he will also provide a way out and the strength to bear it.No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
No one who conceals his transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and renounces them will obtain mercy.Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.
