Trust (2/3)

How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!
In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?
Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.
Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do what pleases him.Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge.Preserve me, O God, for in You I put my trust.
I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.
May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You.
The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be moved.
I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.
And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways. For the Lord detests the perverse but takes the upright into his confidence.Do not envy the oppressor, And choose none of his ways; For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord, But His secret counsel is with the upright.
