A fool despises his father’s correction, but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.A fool despises his father’s instruction, But he who receives correction is prudent.
Excellent speech isn’t fitting for a fool, much less do lying lips fit a prince.Excellent speech is not becoming to a fool, Much less lying lips to a prince.
Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of Yahweh are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them.
