Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. If another believer sins against you, go privately and point out the offense. If the other person listens and confesses it, you have won that person back. If another member of the church sins against you, go and point out the fault when the two of you are alone. If the member listens to you, you have regained that one. If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. If your brother wrongs you, go and take up the matter with him when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty,
and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city. Whoever covers an offense seeks love,
