Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the Lord your God disciplines you. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee. Know then in your heart that, as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you. You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you. Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good. Know then in your heart that as a parent disciplines a child so the Lord your God disciplines you. You shall consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you. So you are to know in your heart that the Lord your God was disciplining you just as a man disciplines his son. Thus you could understand that the Lord, your God, was disciplining you, just like a father disciplines his son. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.Next verse!With image
