- You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
- As water reflects the face,
so one’s life reflects the heart. - As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, my God. - For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

- We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.

and my thoughts than your thoughts. - Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”
- So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.

- You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
- For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
- You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.
- Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.

“Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. - So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
- As you do not know the path of the wind,
or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb,
so you cannot understand the work of God,
the Maker of all things. - God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- So that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.
- For this is what the Lord has commanded us:
“I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” - “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
So shall it be! Amen. - So is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. - After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.
- Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave.
- For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.Next verse!With image
